Hey there, if you don’t mind I would like to take a few minutes of your time and tell you a little bit about WorkFromHomeDaddy.Com

Basically this is be my daily journal about my Work From Home career. I’m starting out from  ZERO, with no job and no income. I have bean “working from home” with online marketing for the last 3 years without any real success,  made some money here and there but nothing that mattered. So I finally decided that I need to make some changes to make this work! Read my story below.

The story below was written by me on the 12 of February 2009. I have edited it and added some new things to make it up to date. Enjoy!

From Dream to Reality (or not)!

Back in 2007 I stumbled upon an site that promised me great wealth from minimal work. The product was not to expensive so I gave it a try. Right after I paid for it a page popped up asking me if I where interested in a
free extra bonus. Sure I was who wouldn’t be? The only thing I needed to do was to fill in my contact information, some questions of how I want my future to look like, call to a company in the US and type in a code. Done! I got some extra e-book, nothing special.

The product I bought was a membership and some e-books. Since I was at work I just scanned the e-books and left them until the next day.

So the next day I was very busy and did not even think of the “great” product I had bought last night. Then suddenly my phone starts ringing, I look at the phone display and I see that it is a 001 number (US). So I’m thinking who would be calling me from the US I don’t know anybody from there. I answer the phone and a very kind, professional man is introducing him self and explaining what he dose. He is a pro recruiter for the company that I bought the product from yesterday. He is asking me about how serious I’m about the questions I answered yesterday about how I want my future to look like.  So we talked about my future and he tells me that their CEO will call me tomorrow with a special opportunity that will change my life.

I’m so excited now! WOW. A real marketing guru from a big internet company is going to call me tomorrow (will tell you at the end who it was). The next day he calls me and we talk some more about my future and the hard work it will need oh yeah and the cost, $4500!

I toke a bank loan and a few days later I was all set up to become a Success Coach. The training was estimated to take 1 year.

The next few months I was learning very fast and it was very hard. While I was learning I started my own online business. Only a few days after I launched my website I saw some money dropping in to my PayPal and ClickBank accounts. This was so awesome I did not have words for it. So I continued for some time and the future I was looking for did not seem to far away. Then suddenly I got off track and I got in to Paid to Click sites. That was not the best thing that happened, I saw a chance of making big money online quickly, but I was wrong!

I invested a lot of money without thinking, I emptied my credit cards and debit cards just to realize a few months later that I had made some extremely bad and foolish decisions. I probably lost $6000 and believe me that was/is a BIG load of cash for me. I just recently finished paying of my debts (2 years later). Well you might wonder why I did all that.

First of it all looked so fantastic, easy and it really worked for some people it even worked for me (I thought). I got into paid to click sites so much that I even opened one my self and thought that I will make BANK..  My website became one of the best paid to click sites online, I had more then 100.000 visitors a day at one point. The cash was rolling in, but it all changed very quickly. One day I noticed some strange activity on the site and realized that the website had bean hacked, somebody got access to all the files and accounts and made a big mess after that it all went down day by day. My members said I was a scammer and no matter what I did it just got worse. I reinvested all the money to save it but it was to late.  Then some how I manged to get things under control and I sold of the website. Well stupid as I was I didn’t leave the paid to click business I kept going for 4 months loosing more money.  I manged stop one day, I left everything that had to do with paid to click sites.

Lesson learned! (what lesson? don’t be stupid?)

Now the obvious thing would be to get back on track with my training to become a success coach. It toke about 2 months before I started again. Was trying to make money other ways, but it didn’t work. Good thing with the training was that even though more then one year had already passed  I still could finish it since their policy said that the training will continue until I have made all my money back. So I finished the training and got my success coaching certificate. But I didn’t make my money back and I don’t think that I learned to much so I decided to stop here and continue on my own.

“All businesses have a downfall, the only important thing is to get out of it and continue. Remember don’t give up.”

Thats what I wrote just after finishing the training. I haven’t given up yet and I wont because I know that I want to work with online marketing for the rest of my life. You might laugh now but knowing what I know and having bean where I’ve bean makes me 100% sure of my dream.

Well so what now. since I finished with my training, February 2009 I have bean testing everything there is in online marketing and money making, reading hundreds of ebooks and watching hundreds of videos.  So why haven’t I made it yet, I’ve bean looking for that magical pill that does not exist. I also have a weakness, I cannot keep doing one thing, so I’m jumping back and forth testing and testing even tough I know what works and how to do it I don’t. Funny eh? Not really and that is why I have decided to make this big change. Stick with one thing and one thing only. We are talking about small niche websites called Adsense Snipers. We are not talking about some low quality MFA (made for adsense) websites, we are talking high quality websites that are made with the visitor in mind.

You might wonder why the name of this blog is Work From Home Daddy. Well I didn’t mention that in the middle of all that I got a son, Leo. He was born September 2008. I think that this answers the name.
